Bosse has played in Malmö Brass Band from its inauguration in 1974. However, before then, in the autumn of 1955, he began playing in Salem Brass and this autumn celebrates his 50 years jubilee as musician in the same band. From the beginning he was a trombonist but reluctantly retrained to be a tubist.
For almost 25 years he has been the chairman of the SMM (Svenska Missionskyrkans Musikkårsförbund) and was in 1982 part of creating the Swedish Brass Band Championships and has been a member of its committee ever since.
He also is Sweden’s representative in the European Brass Band Association.
